The latest episode of Mysteries of the Universe is about Alvar Hanso and Gerald DeGroot. DeGroot was the founder of the DHARMA Initiative, which Hanso funded through his foundation.
Much of what we know about Hanso comes from an earlier alternate reality game, The LOST Experience. Now we’ve got the new internet-only video referring back to that previous internet-based ARG, making a self-referential loop of things going on outside of the show itself.
