  1. I’m still reeling from this episode. It’s really feeling like one of those horror films now, where you start out with a dozen characters and then end up with one or two. Will Jack be the only one left standing when it’s all over? Will the rest of them wake up in the sideways world?

The interesting thing is that the sideways world doesn’t seem to be all that great, either. So it’s not really like the perfect fairytale ending. Eep.

  2. Interesting point about the sideways world not being perfect either.

I was mad at the show for killing off Sun & Jin. Why did they have to do that? Grrr. But I loved this week’s episode (Across the Sea) so much that I forgive them.

  3. I hated that we finally got Jin and Sun together, and then they get rid of them the very next week. Realllly annoying.

There were parts of this week that I like, but I felt like years of build-up to a “light in a cave!” was a bit…enh. But the crazy mama and brother stuff–I started to see where Ben came from, actually. The psychological games started ages ago.

  4. Yeah, even though dead isn’t necessarily dead on Lost, I thought that killing of S&J right after they got back together was unnecessarily depressing.

I hope it doesn’t end up like a Shakespearean tragedy, with the stage littered with the bodies of the LOSTies we have come to know and love.

I responded to your comment about the “light in the cave” over on the other post. Ha. So Thomas-Kinkade-ish!

So far, a lot of the answers — such as the stories behind the numbers, the whispers, and the appearance of Jack’s dead father — have been underwhelming. But I’ve enjoyed the ride so much, that I won’t be bitterly disappointed if they aren’t able to pull out much in the great-answer department.
